Issei Sagawa

One very appalling crime is that committed by Issei Sagawa. Sagawa was a Japanese student living in Paris, where he was dating a Dutch girl. When his girlfriend refused to make love to him, Sagawa shot her dead. He then cut up her corpse into many pieces, and stored them in the refrigerator. Afterwards he slowly ate parts of the dismembered body piece by piece, but Sagawa eventually decided to dispose of the body.

His crime was only uncovered when the remaining body parts were found crammed into two suitcases in the Bois de Boulogne. Sagawa was arrested and he confessed. He told the police that he had always wanted to eat a young woman.
