Graham Coutts
Early 2003, school teacher Jane Lomnghurst went missing. It was suspected she had been kidnapped. On 19th April the burned body of the missing teacher was found burning in the woodlands in West Sussex. Graham Coutts became an immediate suspect.
After an investigation, it was discovered that Coutts had been caught on CCTV moving the body to a storage company called "The Big Yellow Storage Company". He was also on camera buying petrol used to burn the body. Coutts confessed. In court, it was also revealed that Coutts had returned to the storage place, where he was keeping the body, on several occasional, presumable for sexual gratification.
On 4th February 2004, Coutts was found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment, with a recommended minimum sentence of 30 years. Later on, Coutts’ computer was examined, and it was confirmed that he had visited many websites about rape and murder, and had subscribed to several pornographic sites.
In court, Coutts denied murder, claiming it was a sex game that went wrong.
