Arthur Bishop

Arthur Bishop was born in Utah in 1951, and grew up to be a devout Mormon. But in 1974 he was kicked out of the Mormon church. In 1981 Bishop was arrested for stealing money from his employer, and after that he disappeared, taking aliases. In 1983 he was arrested again for stealing from another employer. Police searched Bishop’s home and uncovered more than they expected. Inside his home were photographs of children that were sexual in nature; many of the children in these photos were missing.

Bishop soon confessed to killing five children. Alonzo Daniels, Kim Peterson, Danny Davis, Troy Ward and Graeme Cunningham were his alleged victims. Bishop helped in finding the children, who he had buried in shallow graves. Bishop was tried and convicted of four counts of murder. He was given the lethal injection and died on 10th June 1988.
